A little bit about us

After a successful career as an antique dealer and interior designer in Zurich/Switzerland the Swiss couple Tranquillo and Rosa Schmid was moving in the early 90s to the Algarve and have opened in 1997 their interior shop CASA SONHO in Almancil.

CASA SONHO is equally qualified in terms of interior design, able to faithfully pick and match furniture and accessories with quality soft furnishings to come up with memorable rooms in any house.

Combining Tranquillo Schmid´s architectural talents and CASA SONHO´s unparalleled stock materials, he has produced many stunning house conversions, renovations and re-builds in the Algarve.
